Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your appliance. This policy explains the warranties that come with each type of appliance, how we handle damaged or defective items, and how to start a return.

Warranties

Every appliance we sell is covered, and coverage depends on the type:

  • New appliances: Manufacturer warranty— covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Used appliances: 30-day warranty, provided directly by Columbus Appliances.
  • Scratch & dent appliances: Scratch & dent appliances carry a 1-year warranty: the first 30 days are covered directly by Columbus Appliances, and the remaining 11 months are covered by a third-party plan through CPS Warranties. A $99 deductible applies to the CPS-covered portion.

Used & scratch-and-dent items are one-of-a-kind

Our used and scratch & dent appliances are individual, one-of-a-kind units sold in the condition described. We do our best to describe and photograph each item accurately. These items are covered by the warranties above; please ask us any questions before purchasing.

Damaged or defective on delivery

Please inspect your appliance at delivery or pickup. If an item arrives damaged or isn't working correctly, contact us within 48 hoursand we'll arrange a repair, replacement, or other resolution. Keep your order number and any original packaging where possible.

Returns & cancellations

To start a return or discuss a concern, contact us at (614) 367-1820 or sales@columbusappliances.net with your order number. Because appliances are large and many of our items are special-order or one-of-a-kind, please reach out to us first so we can help:

  • Special-order items:once we've placed a special order with our distributor on your behalf, it may not be cancellable or returnable. We'll confirm the details with you before ordering.
  • Refunds: approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Card refunds are processed through Square and typically take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.
  • Delivery fees: delivery and installation fees cover work already performed and are generally non-refundable once delivery is complete.
